Please drop your kids off 10-15min. before church.
Welcome to TJN Kids
We absolutely love kids at TJN and we can't wait for them to know and learn
about the God who created them, loves them, and is with them each and everyday.
Everything that is experienced in TJN Kids is designed to do just that.
Lil' Trekkers | Birth-Preschool
Lil' Trekkers is a place where kids get to play, hear a Bible story, learn bible verses, sing, make friends, and be encouraged by their leaders to make wise decisions.
We love to partner with parents to introduce kids to what it means to follow Jesus.
Kidventure | Grades K-5
In Kidventure, kids have a place where they can make the decision to follow Jesus and grow in their faith.
They'll have a fun time learning about God with music, games, memory verses and teaching that is designed just for them.
We can’t wait to serve you and your family!
When you get to TJN, look for the Kids Check-In area.
A staff or volunteer will be there to answer any questions you have,
help you get checked in, and find the right room for your child.
Plan to arrive early so you can drop off your kids and head into the service without missing anything!

God has given us an amazing mission, to shine his love for the whole world to see! When we love, serve, and share Jesus’ story, we’re like shining lights, showing everyone who God is.
APRIL 17.18 | SHINING BY FORGIVING
When most followers of Jesus saw Saul, they saw someone who was mean and unkind. God wanted Saul to have a second chance, though. God showed his love for Saul by forgiving him. When we forgive, we’re sharing God’s love in a big way!
Big Idea: I can forgive because God forgives.
At Home: Thank God for forgiving us. If there’s someone you need to forgive, start by telling God about what happened and asking for his help.
Ask: What does the word “forgive” mean? (To stop being angry about the wrong things someone has done)
Who did God forgive in our Bible Adventure story? (Saul)
How did Saul change after God forgave him? (He stopped being mean and started telling everyone about Jesus)
Memory Verse: Acts 1:8 | “You will even tell other people about me from one end of the earth to the other.”
The story of Jesus changes everything.
If life is a work of art, Jesus has the power to turn it into something beautiful, like switching from black and white to full technicolor.
APRIL 17.18 | GOD'S GRACE CHANGES LIVES
When God needed someone to share Jesus’ story to the world, he chose a man named Saul. Most of Jesus’ followers were afraid of Saul, and probably thought he would never change. God saw something amazing in Saul, though, and gave him a second chance.
Big Idea: God’s grace changes lives.
After Video Questions:
How did Gabby show grace to Samantha? (Letting her do the announcements.)
How could Gabby show grace to Bowie? (Forgiving him, being kind.)
Have you ever been given something really good that you didn’t deserve?
How did you feel?
Look Up and Read: 1 Timothy 1:13-14. These verses are about how God’s mercy and grace changed Paul’s life.
The Point: When we follow Jesus, we are given grace for our mistakes and the things we do that we know are wrong. We don’t have to do anything to earn it – grace is a gift! God loves us and will always give us a second chance.
Memory Verse: Ephesians 2:10 | We are God’s creation. He created us to belong to Christ Jesus. Now we can do good works. Long ago God prepared these works for us to do.
We are doing everything we can to maintain a clean and safe environment for our kids and volunteers. Here’s what you can expect:
- Classrooms will be cleaned before and after services
- Kids will need to wash their hands prior to entering classes
- Masks are suggested for everyone over the age of 6
- Children will receive their own supplies necessary to participate in activities
- Kids will use hand sanitizer as needed throughout the service
- Snacks will be individually wrapped
- Volunteers will use gloves during snack and whenever necessary
All Kids volunteers and staff are background-checked and trained before they start volunteering—so know that your kids are in safe hands.
Every weekend at Kids Check-In, your family is assigned a random code that is on your child’s name tag and your security tag. You will use your security tag during pick up so we can determine each child goes home with who brought them.
If your child feels sick at home, they’ll feel sick at church. We want all of our kids and volunteers to remain healthy and happy, so we ask that kids be kept at home if they’re not feeling well. We’ll be very excited to see them the following week!
In addition if your child has had any of the following symptoms within the last 24 it would be best if they stayed home and rested up to be ready to come back when they feel better.
- Fever (100 or higher)
- Flu symptoms: vomiting, diarrhea, chills
- Excessive signs of a cold: coughing, sneezing, sore throat, runny nose (except for clear)
- Discharge from eyes or ears
- Communicable skin infections (impetigo, boils, ringworm)
- Childhood diseases such as: chicken pox, mumps, measles, rubella, pertussis, or scarlet fever
